Amanita

Amanita muscaria
The Pacific Northwest is a very interesting place to explore, geologically. I’m amazed at how much petrified wood you can find here in Southwest Washington State. Fossils are out there, if you look hard and closely. They may not be as spectacular as dinosaur fossils, but when I find fossil plants, shells, and crabs I’m pretty amazed.

My interests in Geology, Earth Science, and collecting rocks and fossils have grown a lot. I’ve discovered new spots to explore and have found some beautiful and interesting rocks. The tumblers are busy these days.

2012 is about half over. Time sure flies. I’ve found new spots, made new friends, and things are good. I will be adding more pictures, please check back soon!

Have Fun-
